The West Bend-Mallard (WBM) Wolverine boys finished out a hard-fought season last night, falling to St. Mary's in Storm Lake, 43-28. The Wolverines finish out their season with a 3-17 record.

The WBM offense struggled in the first half, finding little success at the hoop against the Panther defense. Crucial rebounds kept the Wolverines in the game, heading into the break down by five, 17-13. In the second half, the Wolverines were able to move the ball more efficiently, finding senior Thomas Fehr for a few crucial points in the third quarter. However, the Panthers kept pressure on the young Wolverines and ran the score up during a fourth quarter run to win.
