There will be a Mass of Christian Burial for Jeanine M. Schneider on Nov. 7, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Emmetsburg. Celebrant will be Rev. Bill Schreiber. Interment will be at St. John's Catholic Cemetery Emmetsburg. Visitation will be Nov. 6 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Martin-Mattice Funeral Home in Emmetsburg.

Jeanine Mary Schneider, daughter of Nick and Malinda (Thilges) Huberty, was born December 16, 1945 in West Bend, Iowa. She graduated from Cylinder High School in 1964.

On April 25, 1970, Jeanine was united in marriage to William Schneider in Emmetsburg, Iowa. They made their home in Newton, Iowa and then Chicago, before moving back to Emmetsburg in 1973.

Jeanine then began working at Iowa Trust and Savings Bank and spent the next 45 years serving their customers. Her cheerful attitude and helpful ways will be remembered by all those that had her wait on them.

Jeanine loved spending time with her grandchildren. She looked forward to traveling and socializing with her friends and was always ready to go shopping with her sister and nieces.

Jeanine was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Emmetsburg and Catholic Daughters of America.

Jeanine passed away suddenly on Friday, November 2, 2018 at the Palo Alto County Hospital in Emmetsburg, Iowa, at the age of 72. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nick and Malinda Huberty; her husband, William; an infant son, William; and a brother, Venoyde Huberty.

She is survived by her children, Darin Schneider of Jacksonville, Florida, Lisa (Dustin) Alberts of West Des Moines, Iowa and Sara (Justin) Stokes of West Des Moines, Iowa; four grandchildren, Logan, Max, Mason and Libby; brothers, Virgil Huberty of Emmetsburg, Iowa, Gary Huberty of Emmetsburg, Iowa and Larry Huberty of Emmetsburg, Iowa; sisters, Leann Dahm of Emmetsburg, Iowa and Rose Ann Houston of McGaheysville, Virginia; several nieces and nephews; as well as many other relatives and friends.
