Larson Signs Letter Of Intent To Play Football For Coe

GRAETTINGER -- A senior standout for the Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire Titans has signed a National Letter of Intent to continue his football career after graduation this Spring. Nate Larson inked a letter to play football for the Kohawks of Coe College in Cedar Rapids last week.

Larson, the son of Scott Larson and Barb Jacobson, was a key leader for Coach Todd Hough's Titans in their 6-2 season, as he gained 75 yards off 12 carries and scored two touchdowns, but made eight receptions for 70 yards and a pair of touchdowns for the Titans.

Larson excelled on the defensive side of the ball, as he came away with 30 solo tackles and 27 assisted tackles, including nine solo tackles for lost yardage and two assists for lost yardage. Larson also made two solo sacks and recovered six fumbles on the season, scoring a touchdown off one recovery for the Titans.
