Commencement Exercises This Sunday For West Bend-Mallard Gilmore City-Bradgate Seniors

WEST?BEND - For 26 members of the West Bend-Mallard/Gilmore City-Bradgate High School, the journey through school will be completed this Sunday with graduation.

Commencement Exercises at West Bend-Mallard/Gillmore City-Bradgate will take place at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, May 21, in the High School gymnasium at West Bend.

The Class of 2017 has selected the words of Atticus, "What good are wings without the courage to fly?" as their class motto for the Commencement Exercises.

In Sunday's ceremonies, Jonna Quinn, a graduate of the West Bend-Mallard Class of 2001, will present the Commencement address. The addresses by the Salutatorian and Valediction will follow.

High School Principal Mr. Paul Peppmeier will introduce the Class of 2017 and diplomas will be awarded by Superintendent Amanda Schmidt and West Bend-Mallard School Board President Wendell Schmidt. West Bend-Mallard Gilmore City-Bradgate Class of 2017 has chosen Royal Blue and Silver as their class colors and the rose as the class flower.
